| 07. 07. 2011 | Ferdinand Schultz Nachfolger in Demmin as of 1st July 2011 1st July 2011 heralded a new addition to our car dealership family. The Schmidt car dealership in Demmin has been transformed into the Ferdinand Schultz Nachfolger Volkswagen car dealership. The new company is managed by Birgit Erdmann from Rostock. Together with her team, she is approaching the new challenge with optimism and high expectations. The idea is once again to tie in with the successful years of the Volkswagen car dealership together. | 29. 06. 2011 | Stapler Cup 2011 in Rostock On 18th June 2011 it was that time again. For the tenth time in a row, the best forklift truck drivers in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania came together to qualify for the German Forklift Driving Championship in Aschaffenburg with their professional techniques and speed. Of course, it was important that the others who came to celebrate and cheer them on didn’t miss out while the participants were fighting it out for the respected trophies. With the usual, amusing flair, Ecco Weber hosted the competition and ensured everybody was in a good mood, while a tombola offered young and old the chance to win great prizes. The youngest visitors also had a whale of a time with a bouncy castle, wheel of fortune and face painting. Hearty delicious treats from the large charcoal barbecue and field kitchen put an end to any rumbling stomachs. As a particular highlight in Rostock this year, Toxic Bikes told us everything we need to know about the crotch rockets they produce in their own workshop with plenty of exhibits. | more |  |
| 29. 06. 2011 | Summer fête at the Ferdinand Schultz Nachfolger car dealership To mark the market launch of two new models in the Volkswagen family at the same time – the Golf cabriolet and the Tiguan – last Saturday was the perfect occasion for a big summer fête at the Ferdinand Schultz Nachfolger car dealership. While our guests’ cars underwent a free safety check, the guests had a chance to inform themselves about the new models, take a test drive or enjoy the hearty treats on offer from the barbecue. Entertainment was provided by Tim Lindemann as the host on the Antenne MV stage with music and games. The Hansa players Pelle Jensen and Johannes Brinkies were kept very busy signing autographs. To top it off, our little visitors could get a makeover at the face painting stalls or prove their abilities on the traffic rules training course. | more |  |
| 04. 05. 2011 | Tribute to the oldest member companies of the Entrepreneurs Association Rostock and Surroundings To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Entrepreneurs Association, there was a tribute to the Ferdinand Schultz Nachfolger group in the Hotel Neptun on 6th April 2011. The association’s press release said: “The Ferdinand Schultz Nachfolger group is one of the oldest and most successful companies in Rostock. Founded as a wire products company in 1868, the company has been run by the Erdmann family since 1902. During the GDR time, the company was expropriated and nationalised in 1953 within the scope of the “Aktion Rose”, reprivatised in 1954 and renationalised again in 1972. However, following reunification, the current managing partner, the Swedish honorary consul, Axel Erdmann, managed to reprivatise Ferdinand Schultz Nachfolger and expand the company with new sectors. Since taking over the company, Axel Erdmann has not expanded and extended his own company, but sets great store by the positive development and stabilisation of the entire economic region. Axel Erdmann, and thus Ferdinand Schultz Nachfolger, is a founding member of the Entrepreneurs Association and has contributed significantly to the association\'s work for the last 20 years. As a long-term member of the board and vice president of the association, Axel Erdmann has guaranteed excellent cooperation with the association and his activities have ensured solid acceptance of the Entrepreneurs Association, including outside of our region.” | ||

| 15. 03. 2011 | NNN local sportsman awards in Ferdinand Schultz Nachfolger car dealership On Friday evening, our premises hosted the awards ceremony honouring the most popular sportsmen and sportswomen according to a survey conducted by the local newspaper NNN – Norddeutsche Neueste Nachtrichten. Almost 100 guests were invited to the event celebrating the NNN Sports Awards 2010, where they enjoyed a fun-filled, pleasant evening. Amongst others, the guests included the mayor, Roland Methling, the Chairman of the Trade Association, Dr. Ulrich Seidel, Stefan Beinlich, Dexter Langen and Stephan Gusche from F.C. The top divers from the leading diving nations all over the world came together in this unique grand prix event in our Hanseatic city. | 22. 01. 2010 | Excellent apprenticeship results 20-year-old Ronny Brückner has successfully completed his apprenticeship to become a car mechatronics technician in our car dealership in Teterow. He achieved the best result in his whole year. In January he passed the final theory test with the grade: “Distinction”. We are very proud of his excellent achievement, which encourages us to continue investing in the education of apprentices. Each year, the Ferdinand Schultz Nachfolger group trains around 30 young people in different commercial and technical fields, making their leap into a successful career that little bit easier. | 11. 12. 2009 | Birthday surprise for Felix Felix Neumann from Rostock celebrated his 17th birthday on 7th December. Felix suffers from lung cancer and spends the majority of his time in hospital. All he wanted for his birthday was a laptop. Then he could maintain e-mail contact with his friends and maybe, in the future, even take part in classes over the Internet. Unfortunately, the severity of his disease makes it no longer possible for him to attend school. The Ferdinand Schultz Nachfolger group was happy to make Felix’s wish come true by presenting him with a brand new laptop. “We have been proudly supporting the “Verein zur Förderung krebskranker Kinder Rostock e.V” (Rostock association to support children suffering from cancer) for many years,” said Axel Erdmann, managing partner. “We are happy to make a small contribution in order to help sufferers overcome their disease.” |  | |
